Jacket: The Limited

Skirt: The Limited

Tank (unseen): Gap

Tights: Merona for Target

Bracelet: New York & Company

Booties: Baker's Shoes

I had a vendor meeting today so I had to look a little more business-like than normal. But of course that doesn't have to mean a boring old black suit! This tweed bell sleeve jacket was the perfect balance of 'serious business woman' and 'fashion conscience closet girl'.

It's hard to see in the picture, but the jacket has a waist belt tied around the middle. My original intention was to trade it out for a big black patent leather belt, but it just wasn't working for me this morning. It felt like too much. So I chose to pump it up with some patent open-toed booties instead. Big mistake - it rained all day so there were huge puddles in the parking lot by the time I left work at 5:00. Note to self: Open toe shoes + puddles + mad dash to the car = soaking wet tights on the long ride home.
