I don't know what is up with my camera lately. Suddenly it is refusing to take clear shots. 9 out of 10 shots come out blurry like this one. This morning I couldn't get a single clear shot, so you're stuck with this one. Sorry!

Today was, you guessed it, rainy and muggy. I am so over this weather.

I picked the dress because it's easy to move in and easy to toss in the washer if I get it dirty. We are preparing for a big homebuild with Habitat this weekend and I never know what I'll be roped into doing, so I'll definitely be dressing with 'machine washable' in mind the rest of the week!

These aren't my first choice in footwear for this dress, but I didn't want to wear my first, second or third choices in the rain, so that pretty much narrowed it down to this wash n' wear pair.

I love the ring I am wearing today. It's a big black stone set into an elaborate silver ring. For some reason the scroll work on the sides makes it feel very gothic to me. I always feel a little badass wearing it.

I really wanted to dress things up a little more with a pair of earrings, but I always feel silly wearing big earrings when I have my hair in a ponytail. I tried on several pairs but I felt juvenile in each one, so I went with my trusty studs instead.

Do you have a jewelry quirk like that? Or is it just me?
