Saturday started bright and early (5AM!) with the Community Home Build. We pre-built the walls for three Habitat homes, packed food for local shelters and packed clothes for shipment to the Ukraine. I wore a red t-shirt provided by work and a pair of denim shorts. Nothing too exciting there.

Saturday afternoon we ran errands and then met up with friends for a movie (The Hangover) and ice cream. I decided to take advantage of the little bit of color I have before my sunburn completely peels away, so I wore this cream top. I love the lacy detail at the top. I always feel feminine when I wear it.
And of course, we've already been over my obsession with all things animal print, so no explanation of the cheetah print flip-flops necessary!

Despite the early start to my Saturday, I was a good wife and got up for early service on Sunday so that Nate could get in a little work in the afternoon. I slept as late as I possibly could, so I needed something that required very little thought. Voila!

This dress is a big step for me. I normally shy away from wearing printed dresses because I feel like they overwhelm me. I am making a conscious effort to work on this. I really wanted to belt this but that made the dress just a tad shorter than I was comfortable wearing to church. I feel like it needs a bolder necklace if I skip the belt. I see a little jewelry shopping in my near future....

Sunday evening we had a picnic at a local park with our small group from church. We had a great time and I was pretty dirty by the time this picture was taken. I knew I'd be playing with the kids and getting some baby cuddles, so I had to be able to get muddy or be puked on (I ended up with both!).

I was uncomfortable with the idea of shorts and it was way too hot for jeans, so I thought these were a good compromise. Nate however was disappointed that I didn't wear short shorts. There's plenty of summer left for that. But only on days when we aren't hanging out with church folks!

I found your site through kimberly's and had to comment on the Sam & Libby heels. I have the same pair and wear them all the time. They are seriously the best shoe purchase I ever made! I can't remember where or when I bought them, but I kinda wish I bought them in every color.
